Me, Myself and UI

Today I am going to talk to you about my UI set up. I am generally very picky about the way my UI is set up, and generally keep it as uncluttered as possible. The first picture I have is my general everyday day look. I tried to show as many addons as possible (I will try and get a raid picture up later tonight)

As you can see I try and keep most of my information towards the bottom, and into the middle of the screen. I also try and group information together so if I need to find something quickly, it's generally in the same area as something like it (i.e. totems or health/mana pots). One addon I forgot to label is CoolLine, which is the bar in the middle of the screen, that scrolls the cool downs of your spells and trinkets etc.

This next picture is a quick shot of Ark Inventory and Rating Buster. I don't know how I ever found stuff with out a bag addon like Ark. Not only can you search for a particular item, but it also groups all your bags into one screen, and allows you to set rules, to group like items together (i.e. cloth, pots, gear). Ratings buster can be configured depending on what spec you are in to show you the difference between what gear you have on, and the item that you are currently looking at.

Here is a screen shot of my UI in action, during an ICC25 trash pull. Again the goal of my UI is to keep the middle of the screen as clear as possible. This helps with bosses and trash pulls a lot since more and more bosses have some kind of AOE that you need to be aware of at all times.

Below is a full listing of my addons. All of which can be downloaded at Curse Gaming or WoW Interface by clicking the links on the right hand side. If you have any questions or comments please feel free to leave them below.

A little about myself

I thought today I would tell you a little about my playing experience. I started playing back in Vanilla WoW, with my first raiding toon Trusilver. I started out on the US server Khaz'goroth, with my trial account. Little did I know that when I requested a US based server, when asked before creating my first toon, that Khaz was a server based in Australia. This created some wonderful and interesting raids while on that server, since we raiding at 8 in the morning server time, but 8pm US time.

I then created Divinement shortly after BC came out, and I leveled her with my friends rogue. Divinement became my main raiding toon through out BC. I started as a Holy priest, but as my guild began to farm Kara, I switched to shadow, and continued to raid as shadow through the rest of BC, and the beginning of Wrath. I became increasing frustrated with Blizzard and their disregard of their most broken class in the game. At this time I started to play Ábazaba much for frequently, and started raiding with her as a Elemental and Resto Shaman.

I then came to the Alleria server, and started raiding with Fatal, in their march through Ulduar. I have continued to play Aba with her main always being Elemental, and her off spec bouncing between Enhancement and Restoration. I am still raiding with Fatal, and love the guild that I am in. I am currently the class lead for Shamans, and enjoy every minute of it. We are continuing our push toward The Lich King, and have 7/12 bosses currently cleared.

I have posted more information about my toon on the side bar, as well as, links and other useful information for all players a like.
